I'm the Founder and head instructor here at LJ University. After a long corporate career I went all in on Salsa. I never danced as a child and had a really hard time when I first started at the age of 30. I left my corporate job and fast forward 10 years and today I dance full time, teaching students, training instructors and spending all my time living and breathing this dance. I started this with the belief that everyone deserves to experience the joy of this dance, and I am on a mission to make it accessible to everyone who has that little fire inside. Doing what I do is a dream come true, and now I spend my time making other people's dance dreams come true. I say to my students...someone is going to do it...WHY NOT YOU?

JENNY ISABEL MOLGADO CARRANZA. I’m from Venezuela and I started teaching at Latin Junction 3 years ago. I love all styles LA Style, Salsa Casino/Cuban Rueda. Currently I’m teaching all levels as well as Cha cha cha and Salsa New York style (Salsa On2). I started formal training at the age of 16 in Latin Rhythms and 4 years later I started teaching Salsa Casino at a school in Venezuela. At the same time as I was dancing I was studying Psychology. Being a psychologist has helped me to connect with my students on a different level. I always like to give more than a dance lesson; I give fun, understanding, and space where people can become a better version of themselves.

Ieva Milaševičiūtė

Ieva Milaševičiūtė, Lithuania. I teach ballroom, ballet, hip hop, salsa, Bachata, contemporary to all ages. I became part of Latin Junction because I was invited to a Black Tie Ball to perform. I started following LJ on social media and after a few months I saw that Felix was looking for a dance instructor for the studio. Now I have been working at LJ for around 1.5 years. My dance superpower is to shift between dance genres quickly; after many years my body used to adapting to new moves or styles. My teaching superpower is to be a guide for people; to lead them to a new path and explore the dance journey together.

  • Will I be able to do it? I’m not a dancer

    This my most common question. And I am 100% know that you can. Not because i’m physic but because we have had literally 1000’s of people go through out courses. With everything we offer you will definitely get it. The variable is just time. Some people pick things up slower, some faster. But there is no hurry, the University is self paced.

  • Do I need a partner?

    No. If you have one it’s a bonus so you can learn together. Even with a partner large part of the material is designed to be learnt solo. If you are Covid restrictions this is the perfect time to develop this superpower before taking out into the world. Once inside LJ University there is a section on how to practice solo and finding a partner once you are ready.

  • Can I cancel anytime?

    After your initial Free 7 day trial you will be charged $19/w (monthly). You can login to your account and cancel anytime by going into the My Account section.

  • Who are you and why should I trust you?
